I acquired my Master's Degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to school my background was in computers, business and customer service across a variety of businesses. I research, write, tutor and instruct across these fields regularly. I enjoy learning and sharing the love of learning with others, regardless of age. My teaching philosophy incorporates student-centered learning based on questions. Initially I work to build a rapport with students by discovering and assuring them of their learning style. Students learn to ask probing question with the research guiding the direction of the outcome. Research and questions lead to findinganswers, rather than pre-determined answers. Students express themselves in different ways to build self-confidence, self-awareness, and for socialization in their technological world. The objective gives students these tools. Tools they use in class and in the direction, they choose throughout their life.
