Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the District University of Bogota, Colombia. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages in Spanish and English. Since graduating, I have worked as an elementary teacher and an English and Spanish teacher in secondary schools in Colombia. I have worked in the US with DoS, USAID, DoD, and DIA adult learners in Washington DC, and VA. What I am most passionate about is Spanish grammar, verbal production, listening, and reading comprehension. I have 18 years of experience helping students from different US government agencies pass the speaking, listening, and reading portions of exams required for their jobs. My teaching style adapts to the student and is very visual. I am convinced that every student needs to be able to literally see their progress and the patterns to correct in order to be confident in their investment of time and money.
