Certified Tutor

I am a lifelong learner and teacher who loves to help others find success and achieve their greatest potential. After earning an associates degree in business, I earned a bachelor's degree from William Paterson University with dual majors in Education and English.

My first experience in education was teaching swimming lessons at my community lake and then providing tutoring services in high school as a National Honor Society member. Encouraging and engaging others with kindness, compassion, and joy is my daily goal. Professionally, I have taught third, fifth, and sixth grades in public elementary schools, middle and high school English and literature in private schools, and adults in a variety of settings.

Although I enjoy teaching all subjects, my favorite subject to tutor is reading. Why is that? I believe that reading is the key to learning everything and makes it possible to keep learning for your entire life.

When I'm not teaching I enjoy reading (all kinds of things, but especially fiction), singing in a jazz band, and visiting new places.
