Certified Tutor

I am a final year student at the University of Nottingham, where I am studying LLB law. During my gap year, I have spent my time travelling to volunteer, such as teaching in local schools in Pakistan, not only helping them with education but also languages in a way that is fun and easy for them to comprehend. I also have experience teaching children who have behavioural issues at Phoenix Aspirational Learning; as well as those who have diverse learning needs. This extensive experience enables me to be well-equipped to teach students no matter their academic ability. My teaching philosophy has always been that 'one size fits all' does not work with educating the future generation that will be working and sustaining our society. Children must find a method that works for them to reach their full potential, and I like to make sure they feel safe in voicing their needs because my main goal is for them to succeed. While I tutor a broad array of subjects, my passions revolve around Math, Science, Geography and Law. These were my favourite subjects in School, and tutoring has allowed me to continue to learn and reinforce my knowledge while providing a platform that will let others learn as well. In my spare time, I love playing the violin and painting.
