I am a mathematics tutor. I particularly enjoy teaching mathematics as, when the process is learned, it is an enjoyable subject for any student, including myself. I have taught martial arts for a number of years from ages 5 - 18+. This is was an amazing experience that, like mathematics, can be broken down for every student to enjoy. Before college, I was enrolled in South Carolina Connections Academy. I am now seeking a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences through the University of South Carolina. My favorite subject to tutor is mathematics. This is because the steps in solving a problem lead to a definite answer, similar to a puzzle. With mathematics, I like to break down problems into steps, that come together as a whole answer. In terms of personal interests, I enjoy martial arts, and particularly Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Overall, I am very excited to learn with everyone.

My interests/hobbies include martial arts, and particularly Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I am passionate about teaching and continually learning about this style of martial arts. Similarly to mathematics, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu starts with smaller, more basic steps. After these basic steps are learned, more advanced technique can be introduced.
