I am finalist at the University of Cambridge reading History and Politics. My interests lie, more specifically, in the history of political thought partly because I feel it infiltrates the way we approach the study of all humanities. Following my first year at university, I was awarded a scholarship to study 'fifty years of women at Cambridge', meshing my historical and political knowledge with interests in art and literature. Recently I have worked as a mentor at Summer Schools associated with the University and now, in term time, I am balancing my degree with running a college-wide political society, 'the Churchill Society of Political Thought'. I'm passionate about sharing my love for learning and hopefully cultivating a similar attitude in all students I work with.

Degree: University of Cambridge - Bachelor, History and Politics
Aside from academics, I am a keen artist, having volunteered in an esteemed art gallery as a youngster. At university, I run a life drawing society where I teach people how to draw the human form. I enjoy letting my creative interests feed into my academic methods and I hope this will be of benefit to my students. I am also a member of my University's First Team Swimming Squad holding a committee position - I am a firm believer in the idea that a dedication to academics is best achieved through balancing it out with an emphasis on wellness, and what we do on the side of our work.
