Certified Tutor
Having been a teacher at an International School for the last six years, where I have progressed and excelled as Mathematics teacher, I believe I have the ability continue doing what I love, showing the same enthusiasm and passion to teach as I always have. Having gained some experience through working online via tutoring and teaching online during confinements and lockdowns, I have gained the skills and knowledge to teach Mathematics in a wide range of circumstances.
I graduated from Queen Mary University with a degree in Electronic Engineering. After completing a PGCSE course in Secondary Maths at the London Metropolitan University, as a Mathematics teacher I have taught all academic years from year 5 to year 12, mostly teaching IGCSE and A-level Maths. By completing various courses, including a level 3 Certificate in Dyscalculia and Maths Learning Difficulties, I have gained a range of tools that have enabled me to help students make the most of their abilities. Scaffolding and three key concepts (Concept, Language & Procedure) are techniques that I often use in lessons. I have also worked as an Examiner for Edexcel for the past 4 years, thus being able to pass on the knowledge to students on how to better interpret exam questions and structure their answers to maximise their marks.
