Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of Mississippi. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education with a minor in History. After graduation, I taught English in an alternative education program with an emphasis on social, emotional, and academic success. I also taught in traditional public schools as a seventh and eighth-grade English teacher; then as an eleventh and twelfth-grade English teacher, and PreK- third-grade Special Education teacher. I find joy in living my purpose and passion which is educating others in Reading, Writing, and History. My teaching philosophy and style can be summed up with this quote: "Show me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." I am currently learning and loving photography, gardening, and mastering the perfect latte.
