Certified Tutor

As a tutor, I place a strong emphasis on ensuring that students fully understand the content being taught, in addition to being able to answer exam questions.
The structure of a typical lesson involves: learning the core material of the lesson, going through practice questions, receiving feedback and identifying common mistakes, and answering exam-style questions to finish with.

Currently, I am a second-year Computer Science student at the University of Warwick. I have a thorough understanding of Edexcel A-level Maths and AQA GCSE Maths, having achieved the highest grades in both.

I have extensive experience helping my peers with maths and programming tasks, and I have always endeavoured to ensure that they understand key concepts within the subjects. Throughout my A-level and University studies, I have ran several regular revision sessions for my peers, in which I focus on providing thorough explanations of specific topics or cover difficult exam questions.

For a problem-solving based subject such as Mathematics, practice is the most important aspect of learning. As a result, I endeavour to provide students with extra practice to complete outside of lessons if they wish, and will mark any work they complete.
