My goal is to inspire young people to explore and enjoy subjects in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students are able to realize abstract concepts through the use of real-world examples, while relating classroom knowledge to current events and practical applications. I hold an associate degree in applied science, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and a Ph.D. in engineering with a focus on fluid mechanics and heat transfer. I have classroom and virtual teaching experience in college-level courses such as chemical and mechanical engineering, engineering design, and core engineering.
