I am a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages (French and German. I also received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Masters of Liberal Arts. Since graduation, I wrote about arts and entertainment for The Dallas Times Herald Newspaper, owned my own public relations company, and led the Dallas Art Dealers Association. After those careers, I opted to become a middle school teacher at a public school. I have teaching certification in English, ESL, and TEFL. I retired this summer so I could become a full-time tutor. My volunteer experiences include teaching refugees from Africa and being a literacy tutor for adults. I am most passionate about English, Literature, and History. I believe education is the key. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, yoga, sailing and reading.
