I currently live in South Carolina, USA, having recently relocated here from California.

I tutor a variety of subjects and age groups, specializing in helping students who are struggling with the learning process.

I have worked as a Special Ed assistant teacher for various school districts in Oregon, for grades 2nd through 12th.

I also have a daughter with learning disabilities, who lives with me, and a grandson whom I'm raising, who has ADHD and Autism.

For 15 years, I owned a horseback riding program for children and adults with disabilities, called Dare to Dream Farm. I grew my program to be the largest Special Olympics Equestrian program in the state of Oregon and was the Equestrian coach for Oregon to the 1995 Special Olympics World Games.

I am passionate about education. As long as we are breathing, we should be learning new things. As long as we are open to new perspectives, we can see the world through new eyes and expand our visions, dreams, and understanding of others.

I graduated from Saint Mary's College of California, Moraga, California, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies. Continuing my educational goals, I am currently enrolled, via online enrollment, at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland working on my Master's degree in Genealogical, Palaeographic, & Heraldic Studies. I completed my first year of the program earning my PgCert and am currently working on my second year for the PgDip.

My move from California to South Carolina will allow me to explore the East Coast of the USA.

I grew up in the Air Force which fueled my appetite for travel. Most of my teenage years were spent in England and traveling throughout Europe. I love traveling and experiencing different cultures and architectural history. I am particularly interested in the 16th through 19th centuries, which ties in with my love of genealogy.

In my spare time, I also enjoy learning the violin, guitar, and piano, as well as reading, writing, traveling, cooking, baking, gardening, photography, and meditation.
