My journey in working with students spans several years, during which I have had the privilege of engaging with diverse learners across various age groups and academic levels. Through formal teaching positions, volunteer programs, and one-on-one tutoring, I have honed my skills in tailoring instructional approaches to meet each student's unique needs. The joy of watching my students thrive and achieve their academic goals is immeasurable and continues to motivate me to make a positive difference in their lives.

My own education has been instrumental in shaping my teaching philosophy and approach. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education from Philippine Normal University, where I was exposed to innovative pedagogies and educational research that kindled my desire to foster a love for learning in my students. After finishing college I continued my education taking Master of Science in Biology majoring in Microbiology and Cancer Biology. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Science Education to further enhance my expertise and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of educational practices.

As a dedicated educator, I tutor a wide range of subjects, including Biology (AP, Dual Enrollment, Honors), Environmental Science, Earth Science, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, and Research Writing. My academic background, coupled with extensive teaching experience, equips me to provide comprehensive support to students, addressing their challenges and instilling a growth mindset that transcends individual subjects.

While I take pride in assisting students across various subjects, my favorite subject to tutor is Biology and Microbiology. Its multidimensional nature allows me to delve deep into the subject matter and inspire students to see beyond the textbooks, fostering critical thinking and creativity. The joy of unraveling complex concepts with my students in Biology and Microbiology is unparalleled and reinforces my belief in the power of lifelong learning.

My teaching philosophy centers on cultivating a student-centered and collaborative learning environment. I firmly believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles, and it is my responsibility as an educator to adapt my teaching style accordingly. Beyond academia, I am deeply passionate about volunteer work for my community, and work in the animal shelter.
