I am a dedicated teaching candidate currently enrolled in Stony Brook University's combined Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Arts in Teaching Biology program. I am preparing to teach Biology and General Science for grades 712, with an extension to teach grades 56.

As a passionate and reflective future educator, I believe in the power of student-centered teaching to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for lifelong learning. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment where all students feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

I will begin my student teaching in Fall 2024 and am actively seeking teaching opportunities starting shortly thereafter. I'm excited to bring my energy, strong content knowledge, and student-focused philosophy into a 5th/6th grade, middle, or high school science classroom.
