Hola! I'm thrilled to be part of the Varsity Tutors team as an online Spanish teacher. Teaching Spanish is not just a job for me; it's my passion. I believe that language is the ultimate tool for breaking barriers, connecting with others, and enriching our lives through cultural experiences. It brings me immense joy to help students embark on their language learning journey and witness their growth and success.

My experience as a Spanish teacher began three years ago when I started teaching my boyfriend Spanish from scratch. Seeing him become fluent and confidently express himself in the language has been incredibly rewarding. I believe in making the learning process enjoyable by connecting with my students through their interests and experiences. I always begin by understanding why my students want to learn Spanish and tailor the lessons accordingly, whether it's for travel, making friends, dating, or work purposes. And if you're not sure about your specific goals yet, don't worry! Together, we'll discover the beauty of the Spanish language, and you'll fall in love with it too.

Although my educational background is in HR, my love for working with people in a patient and empathetic manner has naturally transitioned into teaching. Spanish is my native language, and I'm enthusiastic about sharing its nuances, slangs, and cultural aspects with my students.

My favorite subject to tutor is conversational Spanish. I believe that communication is key to language learning, and through relaxed and enjoyable conversations, we can make significant progress. My tutoring philosophy revolves around efficiency, fun, and adaptability. I respect each student's learning pace and style, ensuring they feel comfortable and engaged throughout our lessons. If you're a quick learner, we'll keep the momentum going; if you prefer a slower pace, I'm more than happy to take the time needed to ensure you grasp the concepts fully.

Beyond academia, my interests revolve around exploring the world. I love traveling, camping, and meeting new friends from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, I'm an avid reader, movie enthusiast, and music lover. Laughter is an essential part of my life, and I aim to bring that joy and positivity into our language learning journey.
