I am currently an undergraduate student working towards a degree in physics and astrophysics, with a minor in Latin, at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I will be graduating in December 2023. I will be attending graduate school in Fall 2024 with the intention of earning a PhD to become a physics professor, hopefully doing work in theoretical particle physics. Throughout my academic journey, I have discovered a deep passion for mathematics and physics, and I am eager to share this enthusiasm with others through tutoring.
Having been diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, I understand the unique challenges that students with ADHD or similar disorders may face in traditional classroom settings. However, I firmly believe that intelligence and potential are not defined by such diagnoses. Instead, I view these experiences as opportunities to approach learning from different angles and embrace diverse teaching strategies.
My personal experience with ADHD has instilled in me a strong commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. I am dedicated to tailoring my tutoring approach to the individual needs of each student, recognizing that everyone has their own distinct learning style. By fostering a collaborative and adaptable tutoring experience, I aim to empower students to overcome obstacles, enhance their understanding, and ultimately excel in whatever subject they might currently struggle in.
With my academic background, genuine passion for the subject matter, and empathy towards diverse learning profiles, I am confident in my ability to make a positive impact as a tutor.

I spend a lot of time working on physics research, as that is my greatest interest. I am most interested in particle physics, gravitational waves, and cosmology. I am currently working on developing a machine learning pipeline to detect black hole events and the (hypothetical) stochastic background in gravitational wave data. I also work on a dark matter particle detector (LDMX). I am very passionate about my research and invest the majority of my time into those projects. Outside of that, though, I love being outdoors, animals, cooking, baking, gardening, and arts & crafts. I am a very creative person and I love getting to use that part of my brain.
