I specialize in tutoring Japanese, with a student-focused teaching style focused on tailoring language learning to fit the learner. I'm a graduate of the University of Minnesota, with over five years of experience living in Japan. During my time in Japan, I developed a passion for language learning. Working as an English teacher in Japanese public schools, I gained unique perspective into the language learning perspective, seeing how students learn a second language while also learning Japanese at the same time. Language learning isn't just academic, it's also based on experience and personal motivation.
