I am a firm believer that anyone can "do" math. Sometimes, it just takes a different approach or perspective. I have been a teacher for 22 years at the high school level and 18 years at the college level. I have taught from pre-algebra to college math, online courses and dual enrollment.
I also run the credit recover program at my high school. I have a passion for math and love it when one of my students "gets it" for the first time. Doing math is very empowering and I love to be part of that experience for people.

I love camping. One of the benefits to being a teacher is the opportunity to go camping during long breaks over summer, spring, fall and winter. I also love music, singing, and playing instruments. I enjoy sewing and crochet, arts and crafts and building custom furniture. Oh...I also like landscape and working in the yard.
