Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in International Social Justice. Since high school, I have tutored students of all levels in Japanese, reading, and essay writing. During the pandemic, I worked for a private school teaching core subjects and specialized interest topics to students with Autism. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Environmental Science, Japanese, and Math. In my experience, students have more retention in a subject and more fun when learning in a manner that connects to their interests. Education is important for a successful path forward in life. In order to help students achieve their goals, I believe it is important to teach with excitement and passion.
