Hello! My name is Ericka. I enjoy connecting with students and helping them gain confidence in their studies! I have over 15 years of experience tutoring math and completed a Master's in Applied Math. My clients are mostly high school and college aged, although I've tutored everything from elementary math, mental math, Algebra, and Calculus!

Math anxiety is quite common so it is important to be encouraging and meet students where they are. I employ the Socratic method- asking questions to encourage the student to be engaged and also to assess their level of understanding. I allow the student to work through problems with support and encouragement.
