Certified Tutor

I hold a doctorate (PhD) degree in Biosciences at the University of Nottingham, a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Glasgow both from United Kingdom. I received my Bachelor's of Science (B.Sc) in Microbiology (general) from the University of Benin, Nigeria. Since graduating, I have taught and tutored in universities and colleges in several STEM subjects as well as a freelance and personal tutors in GCSE and A-level biology and chemistry. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about biology (GCSE and A-levels), Microbiology, Molecular biology, bioscience (biotechnology), cell biology and bioinformatics. In my experience helping struggling students understand scientific concepts betters and prepare for test and exams, we always seem to have the most fun as I give practical and use physical attributes and scenario to explain the concepts. I also teach on academic writing (research proposal, thesis, and dissertation) and viva prepping. I am strong supporter and proponent of education because it is absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this philosophy to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, listening to gospel music, and volunteering for a local food waste charity.
