Certified Tutor

As an experienced tutor, I am passionate about helping students because I believe education is the key to unlocking one's potential and achieving their goals. I find it incredibly rewarding to see students grow academically and personally, and I am committed to providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying learning styles. From elementary school to high school, I have tutored a wide range of subjects, including math, Chinese Language and literature, English. I have also worked with students on test preparation, study skills, and time management.

My education includes a Bachelor's degree in English language and literature and a Master's degree in TESOL, both from reputable universities. In the future, I may pursue a Ph.D. in Education to further expand my knowledge and expertise in the field.

My teaching philosophy is centered around creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a growth mindset. I believe in tailoring my tutoring approach to each student's individual needs and goals, while also encouraging them to take ownership of their learning and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Outside of academia, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my family and pets. I believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance to recharge and stay energized for my students.
