A teacher must have the requisite passion for teaching but also have the ability to customize a lesson plan or lesson objective for the students that she or he is teaching. An effective teacher has the ability to teach material to auditory, visual, read/write, and kinesthetic learners to the best of her or his abilities. A teacher also has the will and the ability to show proper emotion, realizing that genuine emotions are an effective and personal means of communication. And last but certainly not least, a teacher must know the importance of being humble. Teaching is a humbling profession and I learned a new thing about myself or the art of teaching every day. It's important to incorporate new techniques in the teacher's toolkit to improve in the capabilities of being a teacher.
