I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh-Main Campus. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History with a focus on U.S. History and Minors in Africana Studies and Administrative Justice. I have completed the majority of the coursework for a Master of Arts in Leadership in Teaching with a focus on Reading Instruction from Notre Dame of Maryland University.

I have close to 10 years of experience teaching in public schools in the state of Maryland. I have worked as a Dual certified educator in the General Education and Special Education settings. Additionally, I have experience tutoring Elementary students in the areas of Reading and Writing.

I have always been passionate about helping and being of service to others. Teaching and tutoring is an extension of that passion. I believe that children deserve the very best, both in the classroom and out, and I seek to provide all that I can to my students to ensure that they receive the academic instruction and support they deserve.
