Certified Tutor

As a former advertising professional and salesperson in a leading pharmaceutical company, I have developed a deep understanding of the importance of effective communication and building relationships. This is why I believe that tutoring is more than just teaching - it's a partnership between the tutor and student, working together to achieve a common goal.

Currently pursuing a MRes in Big Data Biology at the University of Southampton, I am excited to bring my passion for learning and teaching to online tutoring. My experience in the corporate world has taught me the value of setting clear objectives and goals, and I plan to apply this to my tutoring sessions.

I strongly believe that the success of a tutoring session is not just dependent on the tutor, but also on the student's willingness to learn and their genuine interest in the subject. I expect my students to be proactive in their learning, asking questions and engaging with the material. In turn, I promise to provide a supportive and respectful learning environment where my students can thrive.

As I primarily focus on A-Level students, I understand the importance of treating them with respect and as adults. I believe that this mutual respect will help us build a positive working relationship and ultimately achieve academic success together.
