I am a final year law student and aspiring solicitor, I have had experience in the legal field and educational sector.

I have studies English Lit/Lan at GCSE and A-level. English is a subject I thoroughly enjoy and am passionate about teaching.

Having been the first year cohort to sit the new 9-1 GCSE. I am aware on how students are feeling when having to memorise quotes and study various texts.

My teaching method involves helping student find techniques that benefit them in memorising the content, whether that involves using revision grids, quizzes and cue cards, and going over how to answer exam questions.

I am able to teach literary texts such as Macbeth, Hamlet and Jekyll & Hyde as well as poetry.

I have also worked as an exam invigilator and understand how students can feel nervous in the exam hall, and struggle to find revision techniques. I believe by helping student use methods that benefit their studies will help them feel confident in the exam and allow them to unleash their potential.
