Certified Tutor

I'm a third-year student at the Georgia Institute of Technology studying Aerospace Engineering. I was an employed tutor for about 3 years teaching mathematics and chemistry. From the combined experience from my own studies and the range of K-12 students I have tutored, I have built a teaching method that has proven successful. There are 3 objectives I have for a student when tutoring a concept: a what, how, and why. Students need the big picture, the fine details, and the purpose of what they're learning to truly understand and achieve mastery in what they are learning. I love working with other students, sharing our different perspectives on subjects based on our experiences to improve their learning and make me a better tutor.
