I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in December 2018, along with a handful of elective math courses. As an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to participate in programs teaching students in India, as well as Ireland! Upon graduation I was offered a full-time teaching position. There, I taught at a variety of student levels in upper elementary for three years. I have experience working with students in a broad range of subjects, from learning basic reading skills to complex math problems. (Curriculums including: iReady, MyMath, Illustrative Math, and worked without one) I have worked with entire classes, small groups, and one-on-one. I also led math and reading interventions, working with small groups on skills that were missing, so they could better understand grade level content. I like to make learning more engaging with different activities and real life applications. I enjoy all subjects, but my favorite to teach is mathematics! There are many ways to solve a single problem.

I love spending time with my husband and baby! We recently welcomed our son back in July of 22! As a family, we enjoy swimming, hiking, and traveling together!
