I am from Puerto Rico! meaning; you will learn Spanish with a real Latina including the accent and the culture of the country. I am a graduate from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, Bayamon Campus. I received my Bachelor of Liberal Arts (Criminal Justice, Investigation Area) After four years in the service, I decided to change course; We moved to Knoxville, Tennessee and my church Sacred Heart Cathedral has a program under the INS to teach Spanish to a group of professionals: Lawyers, Nurses, Doctors, Law Enforcement, Firemen etc. I teach Spanish to them, and I simply felled in love with the language and the dynamics and the structure to teach. I had the opportunity to translate for Doctors Without Border and the experience was amazing. I can Speak not only fluent Spanish, but also French as well. I continue teaching Spanish for adults at the Community College of Beaver County for six years and subbing for Spanish teachers in 4 different school districts. When we moved to Pittsburgh, I discover something amazing: Hockey! I am a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins for life! In my spare time I read a lot! Also, I cook from scratch every single day and I true love it! Now I am starting this new adventure and I hope that you like my teaching style! Hasta Pronto (see you soon)
Ps.
At this moment unfortunately I am not teaching on weekends; I am now the caregiver of my mother who is a patient of dementia and Alzheimer's and that's the time our family regrouped and shared a great time all together.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Sincerely,
Angela.
