Certified Tutor

From 2018-2021, I completed my degree in Education Studies at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln. After this, I went onto complete my teaching qualification, also in Lincoln.

Throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, I had lots of amazing opportunities to work alongside young people in schools, developing their academic confidence one day at a time. It was here that I developed my passion education and helping others.

I now have lots of valuable experience at Varsity, tutoring Key Stage 2 and 3 in Maths, English and Science. I have helped my students prepare for SATs exams, settle into secondary school, and early preparation for GCSE exams.

My philosophy is that learning takes place when you are having fun! There is lots of trusted academic research which suggests that fun and memorable experiences help with retaining knowledge. Games can be incredible tools for learning.
