I graduated with from Appalachian State in 2012 where I studied French and Francophone Studies with a concentration in Education. I had always had a passion for French language and culture and this gave me a place to study my passion and share it with the world. I was grateful to be a part of the Fulbright scholarship, where I spent a month in Senegal broadening my interest and knowledge in Francophone culture. After graduating, I have traveled to many French speaking countries both myself and with students. I have been teaching French from 6-12th grade for 10 years and enjoy watching students learn to love language learning as much as I do.
