As a 25-year veteran educator, I am passionate about teaching students and helping all learners understand difficult areas. I received my bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. I then went on to get two Master's degrees, one in educational leadership and the other as a Certified Reading Specialist and Master Reading Teacher.
Reading and writing are my passions, but I also love tutoring in Math. There is something so rewarding about helping a student understand something they found challenging. Sometimes it just takes a different teacher to help the student see what they were doing wrong, and that is why I love what I do.
I believe all learners can be successful if they have a patient teacher, a willingness to do their best, and time to get the work completed.
