Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati, OH) with a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences. During my time at UC, I was a Supplemental Instructor for the Anatomy & Physiology department where I lead review sessions with undergraduate students to cement their knowledge and study habits. This position allowed me to discover my passion and talent for teaching, especially teaching others about the complex biology and chemistry of the human body.
I am currently a lab manager at the Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute at the University of Utah with a plan to begin a PhD program in Integrative Physiology Fall 2023.
While I am confident teaching a broad range of subjects, my strengths lie in the biological sciences and chemistry. I believe every student retains knowledge and organizes themselves in a unique manner and there is not a "one size fits all" approach to learning. I am here to help students determine what works best for them and get students excited about learning. Knowledge is power!

When I am not in the lab or tutoring, you can find me outside moving my body or reading in the shade.
