Certified Tutor

Recently graduated with a degree in Biology from UMass Amherst, I am a research assistant at Mass Eye and Ear who hopes to spend my spare time as a tutor. My experiences before and during the pandemic involved tutoring 10 students in-person and virtually in math subjects ranging from arithmetic to Algebra 2. I have experience tutoring children with ADHD and adults preparing for the ASVAB and have learned through these experiences that dynamic teaching is a marathon, not a sprint. I hope to form long-term connections to my students to foster long-term success, not only in Math, but in all academic areas.
