I am passionate about project-based learning and hands-on, student-centered education. My goal as a tutor is to help students determine and develop their personal strengths and interests. Learning should feel like an adventure, not a chore. I graduated From Texas Tech with an English degree and a minor in secondary education. I have taught Language Arts and Reading classes as a public school teacher for the past two years. Reading is my favorite subject to teach because I love helping others find stories that bring them joy. I also tutor writing and English for middle and high school, as well as study skills and organization.

In my free time, I enjoy going on long walks and listening to audiobooks. My reading interests span several genres, including fantasy, sci-fi, and crime thrillers. Games like Slime Rancher, Bugsnax, and Stardew Valley are my favorite. I also love baking, traveling, and playing with my silly boxer mix pup, Beans.
