I graduated from Michigan State University with a Special Education Major and an Elementary Education Minor. I spent the first half of my career in elementary education teaching all subjects. Most of my experiences were with students of various needs who were included into our classes. I want all students to feel that they will be able to understand and do belong with the rest of their peers. I break material into small bites to make it easier to understand each part. We all have our strengths and I like to find what your have. I have also worked with teachers and training to improve their skills. Education is an ever changing field. Being able to be inspired by the new material and pass that onto your students is the most rewarding feeling in education. Inspire the future.

I like to spend my spare time outside. This can be in my own yard landscaping, walking and riding my bike. Florida has many opportunities year round to get out. The beach with fishing and boating, to golfing and playing tennis on land. I have a rescue lab/border collie dog named Lucy and a yellow cat named Floki. In my yard I may see deer, racoons, squirrels and alligators. The right place for taking pictures.
