Certified Tutor

Being a graduate from King's College London, I completely understand what it feels like to be a student and how pressurizing it can sometimes be. However, my job as a tutor is to take most of that pressure off my students and teach them, through my experience, how to deal with pressure. My prior teaching experience has enabled me to understand students' psychology better and develop teaching techniques that are proactive and engaging.

Hence, to help students to the best of my abilities, I have chosen to teach subjects such as maths, business, financial accounting, and GCSE Economics. Given my accounting and finance degree, these subjects are my strong suits. Economics has allowed me to view the world from both the micro and macro perspective, enabling me to follow the debate within my country about the efficacy of IMF programs with a conceptual understanding of the balance of payment, inflation and exchange rates. However, I am particularly interested in financial accounting and how great of an impact it has on companies worldwide. Since I am a student, I have access to and first-hand knowledge of recent topics that will be an asset to all my students.

Apart from academia, being chosen as one of the 16 elected representatives in my school's student council has honed my ability to strike a balance between academics and extracurricular activities. It has polished my communication skills and has made me adept at working with people of varied dispositions.
