Certified Tutor

I am a third-year Pharmacy student at the University of Portsmouth working towards my mPharm degree. I am the oldest of three children and so tutoring my younger siblings (as they go through the same process I previously underwent)is something I'm all too familiar with. My favorite subject to teach is Biology as it's such a broad subject that covers not only the secrets of the human body but also gives me an insight into the pathological characteristics of diseases, such as Coronavirus, a more up-to-date disease that has affected us all in one way or another over the past two years. I also offer Chemistry lessons in which I am equally competent. My teaching philosophy is based on the fact that I feel that every student learns differently. Some are quick learners so the process of learning provides little challenge, while others require a more timely process. Based on that I aim to center my format of teaching around each student by providing specialized tailor-made services suited for the variability that comes with the different skill levels. The characteristics that allow me to tailor-make my service are my; patience, people skills, communication, problem-solving, playful manner, wit, and charm.
