I am a graduate of East Carolina University. I have a degree in English, with a focus on Creative Writing, and a certificate in Technical and Business Communication.
I have four years of experience with creative and academic writing, and have tutored from middle grade all the way to graduate school in these subjects.
I also have experience in the publishing industry, working with editors and bestselling authors, and am very familiar with all the nuances of the professional writing world.
I am passionate about helping people learn to articulate and communicate through writing and rhetoric. Whether it is helping a writer become comfortable with their voice, or helping them craft a strong style, I am dedicated to helping my students succeed, and have fun while doing it.
