Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Misericordia University where I received my Bachelor of Science in a Dual Major of Early Childhood Education and Special Education. During my time at Misericordia University, I completed a year of study abroad; 6 months in Ireland and 6 months in Italy. I have traveled extensively during that year and continue to do so during my summer breaks. I have been a Special Education Teacher in my current position for 4 years now. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math as I am a Math Learning Support Teacher. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, I always ensure my students that it is okay to make mistakes, stay relaxed, and to remain positive. I am open-minded, flexible and aim to bring a sense of enjoyment to each and every tutor session. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, anything outdoors but most usually hiking, and working on some DIY projects around my house.
