It is such an honor to be a part of a student's journey in education. I have 31 years of nursing experience. I obtained an MSN is in Nursing Education from Jacksonville University in FL. I am a certified oncology nurse with over have 20 years of oncology nursing experience. I have experience teaching nursing clinicals, care plans and critical thinking for Nursing Fundamentals. I most recently taught at Keiser University. Teaching nursing students allows me to fulfill a passion of mine. I want to empower and encourage our next generation of nurses by promoting a positive learning experience. My style of teaching is specific to what each students learning needs. I am organized and like to simplify concepts. I also focus on test anxiety interventions and strategies.

I co-founded a nonprofit called Complementary Cancer Care. compcancercare.org I enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, and paddle boarding. I am an animal lover, a coffee addict. I am a woman of faith. I follow a holistic health lifestyle. I love spending time with my family. My favorite flower is the sunflower. It is the flower of Hope. I am a member of ONS and American Holistic Nurses Society.
