Certified Tutor

I am an undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University currently pursuing a degree in Bilingual Early Childhood Education. Since being part of the Education Program, I have had the opportunity to assist in the classroom setting of local public schools. I have been able to tutor in small groups and one-on-one while also having the experience of teaching lessons to an entire classroom in the subject areas of Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and English Language Arts. While working in a public school setting, I have also been able to acquire the skills necessary to help English Learners due to my Spanish fluency skills. I am passionate about seeing students thrive and flourish while teaching them the tools and skills necessary to succeed in their academic studies. I am a firm proponent of education and equipping students to be confident, skillful, and creative critical thinkers in all subject areas. I believe that with patience, practice, and various avenues of opportunities, students will be able to achieve their goals and endeavors. As a future teacher, I am determined to encourage and support students into becoming successful individuals.
