I graduated from Georgia State University. I received my B.A in English with a focus on Creative Writing. I also have a minor degree in Entertainment Media Management. During college, I spent a great deal of time mentoring middle school and high school students. I held the position of Leadership Liaison which means I taught lectures on becoming a leader and building a personal brand. My goal with each interaction with each student is to get them on the path to self-guided discovery and growth. After graduation, I became a nanny for children under the age of 5. We worked on early childhood development and focused on phonics. I am passionate about helping students because no one should have to face challenges alone. One person can provide one word and change your perspective.

My focus as a tutor is English, Composition, and Creative Writing. As a student of English and the written word, I believe communication is the central thread to all beings on the planet. Learning how to tailor your communication style to your audience is the key to understanding people and their lives.

Outside of academia, I am passionate about dance, music, art, and culture. I enjoy visiting art exhibits, dance performances, music concerts, and watching documentaries just to name a few. I look forward to working with the great minds of the present and future.
