Certified Tutor

I am the graduate of Grand Canyon University where I obtained my Master of Art degree in Education (specializing in Early Childhood Education). Since graduation, I have worked in public schools for the past seven years. Most recently, I taught 1st grade including all subjects, such as such as Reading, Writing, Phonics, English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. I have also taught technology to K-5 grade students, along with intervention in reading and math for K-5 grade students with learning disabilities. I am most passionate with helping students to build foundational reading skills and building their writing. I am a published children's book author, and I strongly believe that learning should be fun and engaging. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, watching movies and exercising.
