I am a graduate UNC Pembroke in North Carolina. I received my Bachelor of Science in in Biology. I am currently working towards a Master's Degree in Special Education. I taught High School Science for 3 years and Special Education for 5 years. I work as a Program Specialist now for the Special Education Department in my county. I enjoy helping students learn and grow in multiple subject areas. I would really like to help students learn tactics to overcome reading disabilities. I am also passionate about helping adults achieve goals by guiding them through test prep classes. I believe in the power of education, and I believe that everyone has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. I don't ever want any of my students to feel like just because they are weak in one subject area, that they cannot overcome that and still make something great of themselves, using their given abilities. In my small amount of free time, I enjoy being creative, spending time with family, and taking walks and runs.
