My name is Natasha Lee, or better known to my students as Teacher Tasha. I am an English teacher from Colorado, with academic experience in journalism, proofreading and translation as well. I am 35 years old, and have over 10 years' experience teaching a variety of subjects both in the classroom, as well as online, with students from over 10 countries around the world in Europe, the Middle-East, as well as Asia. I received my Bachelor's Degree in 2008 from the Art Institute of Colorado, majoring in English Literature and Fine Arts. I completed my TEFL and IELTS Certificates in 2018, participated in creative writing courses, and received a certificate in Journalism, which was geared towards reporting in the MENA Region (the middle-east and north Africa). My students have ranged in age from 3-65 years old, including beginners to advanced, as well as university students, business professionals, even those with careers in international relations. One of my most highlighted experiences throughout my teaching career, was instructing at an international school with elementary, primary, junior, and high-school students, in mainland China. I am also very fond of the experience, in which I truly honor, of having taught English, while mediating political debate, to Israeli and Palestinian students united. I have been living abroad for the last 12 years, and speak 2 secondary languages fluently; therefore, I can relate to the challenges and fears that my students may face.
