I hold a Masters Degree in English from St. John's University and a Bachelors Degree in English from Fordham University. I have several years of teaching at the college level, particularly in Developmental Reading and Writing. Looking for help with AP English, I am here to fill in those literature gray areas you are struggling with. For the college student who needs help with English Literature, Poetry or help preparing for the GRE exam, my methods will help improve your test scores.
My teaching philosophy is simple, "...a little learning is a dangerous thing, drink deep or taste not the Pierian spring..."What this A.Pope quote is simply saying is do not learn things halfway and think you know it all, act like you are knowledgeable, when in essence you have only superficial knowledge on any given subject.
