Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Since graduation, I have worked the majority of my professional career in some capacity with children. I taught K-2nd in daycare and prepared those students in the summer for the next grade. I also have experience working as a tutor for students in the 2nd grade helping out during their math lessons. I currently work in a middle school where I offer support services and manage a caseload of students struggling in different areas. I help tutor some of my current students in math, science, and Spanish. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math and Spanish. I have always been that student that made great grades and caught onto things very quickly and therefore have always filled the role of helper whether in the classroom with friends or at home with my younger siblings. I strongly believe in helping others however I can and I am super glad to be able to further tutor students through this platform. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and enjoying life with my friends and family.
