Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Iowa State University, with a Bachelors in English and Linguistics. In my time at ISU, I was able to take coursework in Teaching ESL and in Creative Writing Fiction, which are two areas of passion for me. I love to travel and was able to study abroad in Europe for a summer before the pandemic, where I studied architecture and the church, focusing on France. I have been fortunate to have many hours in classrooms and one-on-one settings with students of various ages and grade levels, especially ESL minors and adults, working on conversation skills, academic language, and other various tasks. My content areas for tutoring include all things English- speaking, writing, reading, listening, editing, grammar, pronunciation, etc. My ideal teaching job would be in Creative Writing (especially Fiction) as I have many resources and knowledge from courses I have taken and research I have done.
