I discovered my passion for teaching after having my own children. I quickly learned how much I loved helping them learn new things and started pursuing my teaching degree. While pursing my degree, I worked as a teaching assistant in a variety of special education classrooms. I recently graduated from Fontbonne University with my teaching degree in Special Education. I am excited to expand my teaching knowledge to tutoring and helping more students reach their potential.

Outside of teaching, my hobbies include reading, hiking, spending time outside with my family, fostering puppies, and listening to true crime podcasts! My favorite books to read are self-help books and thrillers. I love reading a book I can't put down. As a family we love going for long walks, going to different parks, watching my son play baseball, and swim. We have recently started fostering dogs through a local rescue and find ourselves very busy taking care of puppies and finding their forever homes! As you can see, I really love staying busy.
